About the programs
BC Endurance Trainings prepare recreational athletes for Hawaii’s major running, swimming, and triathlon events.
Each training program lasts 12 to 18 weeks, with workouts three times a week—twice on weekday evenings (5:30 to 7:15 pm) and once on a weekend morning (7:00 to 9:30 am).

Running, Jogging & Walking Programs
Learn the game of running during this 12-week program that focuses on short fun-run races, quick-relaxed intervals, and little known facets of the racing game. Workouts on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings.
Build a base of stamina on these playful workouts, meeting at various locations in Honolulu on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and around the island of Oahu on Saturdays. Enjoy post-workout meals at your favorite restaurants after workouts. This is a long (22-week), relaxed, and social training. Encourage a friend to join with you.
An off-road alternative to training on the streets. Discover Oahu’s scenic trails during this 17-week program preparing beginner and intermediate athletes for the HURT Trail Series culminating with a unique and fun 22-mile relay race on the Maunawili Trail. You'll learn the Tantalus Trail System as you train in groups that accommodate runners, joggers, and walkers. Monday & Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings.
Sunday Trails | October 10 - November 28, 2010
We explore east Oahu’s ridge trails to the summit of the Koolau Mountains. Experience the most scenic trails on the island, while you chat with friends. The Sunday morning hikes are appropriate for runners who want a good workout, joggers who want a moderately strenuous hike, and beginners who want a low-key introduction to the forest trails above east Honolulu.
Train in ability groups (runner, jogger, and walker) during this excellent program that prepares beginner, intermediate and advanced athletes for the Honolulu Marathon. Workouts on Monday & Wednesday evenings in Honolulu, and on Saturday morning at various locations around the island of Oahu.
Triathlon Programs
For intermediate and advanced athletes who want to test their triathlon skills and endurance, while they train for the Lavaman Triathlon (Olympic Distance) in Kona on March 28, and ultimately for the Ford 70.3 Half-Ironman Triathlon in Kona on June 6. You'll increase your run and bike endurance with long Saturday runs and long Sunday bike rides. Enjoy a Wednesday evening swim-run as well.
Train at your highest level during this 8-week training that focuses on one of Hawaii’s most challenging events— the Ford Half-Ironman Triathlon on the Kona Coast of the Big Island. For intermediate and advanced athletes who want to test their triathlon skills and endurance. Workouts on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and both weekend mornings.
Train safely, competently, and enjoyably during this 14-week training preparing beginner and intermediate triathletes for the Tinman Triathlon (July 25) and earlier sprint triathlons. Workouts, including at least two sports, are held at our triathlon training center near Kahala Mall on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and in Kapiolani Park on Sunday morning.
Swim Training | June 9 - September 6, 2010
Develop your swim technique and discipline, while you prepare for the Northshore Swim Series (of four races) and the Waikiki Rough Water Swim on September 6. Workouts on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings.
